John P. Liptak - CPA/PFS, MST John received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1985 from North Adams State College and his master's degree in Taxation in 1993 from the University of Hartford. He holds the Series 6 & 66 NASD licenses and is a Registered Representative of New England Financial. He also holds the PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) designation from the AICPA. He is well versed to the challenges encountered by businesses and individuals and possesses a wealth of knowledge for the solutions needed. His clientele includes businesses with sales ranging from $100,000 to $7,000,000 in such industries as manufacturing, retail, golf courses, professional/medical services, real estate, insurance agencies, construction and motorcycle dealers. John resides in Westfield with his wife Valenda and their children. John enjoys golf, hockey, motorcycles and outdoor activities.

Gary S. Olszewski - CPA Gary received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1975 from American International College. He then worked for a medium-sized accounting firm in Greenfield and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1978. His experience in Greenfield involved audits of larger local companies such as: banks, hospitals, schools, manufacturers, etc. From 1979 until 1996 (when he merged with John Liptak) he worked for a medium-sized Springfield firm, of which he was the tax principal. He focuses on strategic tax planning and succession planning for closely held businesses ranging from $200,000 to $15,000,000 in sales. Individual and estate tax planning are also a major part of his experience. Gary resides in Westfield with his wife Eileen and their children Kelly and Kevin.

STAFF Darlene Lafield Darlene has been the firm's Administrative Assistant since November of 1996.  She previously worked in an administrative capacity in an accounting firm in Springfield. She resides in Russell with her husband Gary and their children Jason and Adam. Matthew D. Barnes, CPA, MSA Matt received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2003 from Western New England College and his master's degree in Accounting in 2004 from Western New England College.  His career started in a medium-sized accounting firm in Holyoke.  Matt's experience in Holyoke included audits of non-profit organizations and personal and corporate taxes.  Matt joined Olszewski & Liptak in July 2005. Matt resides in Westfield with his wife Jamie and son Brandon.  Matt enjoys golf, classic cars, home improvement projects, and playing with his golden retriever. Anthony Bosini Anthony has been working at the firm since August of 2005.  He graduated from Westfield State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Accounting.  He has started his Master of Science Degree in Accounting at Western New England College. Anthony currently resides in Feeding Hills.
